ABA Services:

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific approach to understanding and improving behavior. It focuses on how behavior is influenced by the environment and uses positive reinforcement to teach helpful skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
ABA is commonly used to support individuals with autism, helping build communication, social, academic, and daily living skills through structured, measurable techniques.
The Anchored Path (TAP) is a BCBA, women owned and operated company that delivers high quality ABA Services to the autism community in the North Carolina area for children 2-18. Our services take place where life actually happens — in the home and community — so skills generalize naturally and meaningfully.
We don’t just work with children — we walk alongside families. Parent coaching and collaboration are foundational to our model.
ABA has evolved — and so have we.
At The Anchored Path, we practice modern, compassionate ABA rooted in respect, relationship, and real-life impact. We reject outdated, compliance-driven approaches and instead focus on teaching meaningful skills in ways that preserve dignity and autonomy.
We believe when therapy is ethical, individualized, and collaborative, it doesn’t just support growth — it restores trust in the field itself.
ABA should never feel rigid or impersonal.
We are committed to ethical, assent-based, relationship centered care that honors each child’s individuality. Ending stigma starts with how we show up — every session, every family, every time.
